ERPİLİC HISTORY

Customer’s pleasure and food safety have always taken the most important part for Erpiliç and its story dates upon 1970s.The story of the company starts with 200 chicks in 1973,upon credits of Orköy,and goes on with poultry farming.Between 1991 and 1994 Ercivciv company was established.Hen-coops for stallions and incubation rooms were built and stallion-eggs and chick growing were started,by this way the first step of integration was taken.

As a result of these, Erpiliç built a slaughtering-house with 6000 broiler chicken-slaughtrering capacitance upon 10.000 m² ground in a short time,and activated Erpiliç Integrated Chicken Marketing and Limited Company as Erpiliç trademark.

Erpiliç has always made all of its investments on rural areas and its basic priority is the employment of neighbourhood people.By the way it has renewed all of the foundations permanently.In 2002 it expanded the slaughtering capacity 8000 piece/hour and completed the buildings of dispatch&cold-depot.In the same year Erpiliç constructed a stallion building capacitied 100.000 piece/period in Göynük.In 2003 such investsments like 900.000 piece/ week capacitied incubation room and 150.000 piece/period stallion-product foundation were made.Moreover the company is about to complete a slaughtering house unit capacitied 80.000 piece/day by the end of the year.Developing new products and expanding its market area have always the priority for Erpiliç.In this foundation the basic principle is using the highest technology.

In Erpiliç’s foundations products are gathered into the groups as, Boxed Piece Products,Batch Charcuterie,Charcuterie Products,Giblets,Products on Plate,and Processed Products.

Erpiliç uses HACCP Food Safety System so as to systemize its attempts and clarify the safety policy.Through this system,Erpiliç increases the production of safe food and provides hygien by permanent education of its employees .At every stage of production,biological, physical and chemical analysises are done carefully and this accurate study wipes out all the risks.

Erpiliç’s one of the most important principles is respect to both people and environment,so it doesn’t let any waste products.Besides this ,an important preliminary study is carried on for a transforming Project.( Dung→Electricity).
